Emergency Campus Phones
Kent State University provides emergency campus phones to keep students safe. Emergency 9-1-1 is accessible from any phone on campus, and is a single push button. Just like most city 9-1-1 systems,the call is connected with the appropriate police department and a computer displays the caller’s location.
But how effective is it? The Kent State Police Department and parking services explains how sufficient they are.
