Severe Weather Damage

Severe weather struck areas in Portage and Summit counties Wednesday night, leaving damage from multiple confirmed weak EF zero tornados…especially in Stow right down the road.

TV2’s reporter Candace Monacelli saw the damage in Stow first hand the following morning. Lets take a look.

Summit and Portage counties continue to clean up debri of fallen trees, house siding and even pieces of a roof to repair all the damages from all four tornado touchdowns. All tornados were confirmed by the National Weather Service office in Cleveland, Ohio. See their final reports from their investigations here.

Weather history shows over time twelve tornados have touched down in Portage county. Below are maps displaying all previous tornados.
