Setting an example: Portage County accident rates are dropping

According, to the date on the Ohio State Highway Portal’s website, car fatalities and accident rates are rising.

Since 2013, the rates have progressed each year. Starting at 919 fatal crashes in 2013 to 1,054 fatal crashes in 2016.
