The current state of Field Local Schools is one worry that weighs on the minds of rural Brimfield Township residents.  Because of failed levies over the passed several years, the school has faced numerous budget cuts and the residents are feeling the effects.  One resident, Charles Mehl, feels the curriculum is not on par with what he would like, so much that he has sent his two daughters to a different high school.

“I don’t think they’re going to do to well in the world with study hall, lunch, and walk yourself home,” Mehl said.

Among problems with the public schooling, residents would like to see work done to the roads.  Many of them are in poor condition.  Resident Linda Dussel, says they are “ruining cars.”
