Possible Changes in Store for the Old Kent Municipal Court Property
The new Kent Municipal Court on East Main Street has been open for less than a year now.
But the building and property that the old court sits on remains closed and unused.
TV2’s Michael Bratton tells us what could possibly be in store for the land in the future.
As Susel mentioned, the City is creating “request for proposal forms” to be sent out to developers.
She says after proposals come back from developers the City will then present them to city council which has the final approval of what’s to become of the old municipal court building and land.
