Total COVID-19 cases in Franklin and Cuyahoga Counties

On March 9, Governor Mike DeWine announced that the first three cases in Ohio were found in Cuyahoga County. As the past nine months have passed by, Cuyahoga County continues to be one of the highest counties with the number of cases. In addition, Franklin County has been one of the highest counties, becoming the first county in Ohio to reach the purple level on November 19. Comparing both Cuyahoga and Franklin Counties, this graphic shows the changes that have continued to occur throughout the state in the highest counties, including the change in Cuyahoga being the leading county to Franklin.
