Two Roundabouts to be Added on East Main Street to Decrease Crashes
East Main Street is currently considered the worst street for crashes in all of Portage and Summit County. To fix this problem, two roundabouts will be added to the street. Building one can reduce traffic and decrease conflict points so that fewer accidents occur. However, adding these to roads can be costly and may also upset some driver’s. TV2’s Shane Troyano explains how the City of Kent is utilizing previous data with roundabouts to implementing new ones.
