Kent Churches Give Insight On How To Find An LGBTQ+ Friendly Church

There is a history of certain religious groups discriminating toward those in the LGBTQ+ community. This causes many who identify as LGBTQ+ and are religious to feel uncertain as to whether or not they will feel welcome. Data from the Pew Research Center shows that religious groups are more likely to be unfriendly than friendly to those who identify as LGBTQ+. Churches in the Kent area weighed in on sharing their beliefs and whether those in the queer community are welcome.
