RAVENNA, Ohio– Medical marijuana is at the beginning stages of growth in Ohio, but 11 different companies were recently announced license award winners. The companies listed below were declared award winners for level II dispensary grows which means they are allowed up to 3,000 square feet of growing space. Kent State President Beverly Warren delivers 2017 State of the University Address

President Beverly Warren gave her annual State of the University Address and highlighted the achievements of the university and the “collective purpose” she hopes to accomplish in the future. “In these challenging times it’s not nearly enough for a university to be big,” she said in reference to the current problems plaguing colleges across the country including reduced enrollment from international students and less federal funding. In the face of difficult headwinds, she delivered a rallying call for members of the community. “Kent State is called to be different, unique, inspiring. That requires us to take a journey together.
