Residents and former residents of ward one in Kent agree that downtown build-up is a plus.

Adam Arrington, who currently resides in Cuyahoga Falls, said he grew up in Kent, and enjoyed going to Roosevelt football games as a kid.  Arrington comes to ward one during the winter months to clear driveways for his family, and said the only thing the city could improve on is plowing the roads.

Paul Knapp, ward one resident, said he’s lived in Kent all of his life, and enjoys the small town community.  While he does like the small town, he said the addition of businesses and improvements to downtown are good for the city.
